For the next edition of Unesco’s World Dance Day, Lavanderia a Vapore wants to bring together as many people as possible for a very special dance event. The participants come from all over Piedmont and share the desire to be part of a big dance performance. Wanted by director Alain Platel, Le Sacre Du Printemps – on Igor Stravinsky’s incredible music – was chosen as the starting point around which the various groups will start working and improvising, under the supervision of two choreographers from the Belgian company and three Piedmontese choreographers.

The final result will be presented in one of Turin’s main squares on April 26, 2020.
