Ivo Santos

DANCER

Ivo Santos was born in Santa Maria Da Feira, Portugal.
He practiced gymnastics since he was 5 and studied dance for 8 years at Ginasiano Escola De Dança.
He started working as an interpreter with Vitor Hugo Pontes and joined Kale Companhia de Dança in Vila Nova de Gaia, working with multiple guest choreographers.
Ivo integrated the cast of the film “A Sibila” by Eduardo Brito, in 2022.
In 2023, he was part of the 6th edition of the program Território, organized by Estúdios Vitor Cordón, in Lisbon, working with Douglas Lee and Sol Léon.
In the same year he joined Ballet Júnior de Genève where he dived into Emilio Artessero’s improvisation practice and performed works by many choreographers such as Jan Martens, Marcos Morau and Alessandro Sciarroni.
In 2024, he started directing the performative process “Blooming A Princess” in which he collaborates with Saraï Martens, Maira Renee, Vicente Sales Roger and others.
Ivo joined BTT in July 2025.
