The choreographer, dancer and teacher Josè Reches began his dance studies in Lérida, Spain with Marissa Samitier and Ana Miass. In 1986 he won a scholarship of three years for the dance school Variun directed by Ana Sanchez.

He danced in many companies as: Ana Sanchez Dance Company ( Barcelona, Spain ), Company of Municipal Theatre of Tesalonica ( Greece ), Metros by Ramon Oller ( Barcellona, Spagna ), Company Artur Villalba ( Barcelona, Spain ), Andermatt 11, Cia de Danza ( Lisbon, Portugal ), 10&10 Danza ( Madrid, Spain ), Cia de Danza de Paulo Ribeiro ( Lisbon, Portugal ), Kytatioh by Pedro Berdayes ( Madrid, Spain ).

He created for many International Festivals among which we quote: Madrid en Danza ( Madrid, Spain ), Masdanza ( Gran Canaria, Spain ), Trayectos ( Zaragoza, Spain ), Festival Fringe ( Madrid, Spain ) and for the Real Conservatorio Mariemma of Madrid, Spain, where he is currently professor of the department of contemporary dance.

In 1996 he won the third prize of the tenth edition of the Choreographic Competition in Madrid, Spain with the creation “En la Boca No”.

In 1998 he won the first prize of the third edition of the Choreographic Competition in Maspalomas, Gran Canarie, Spain with the creation “Amore Amore”.

In 1999 he won the second prize of the fourth edition of the Chreographic Competition in Maspalomas, Gran Canarie, Spain with the creation “Sin casa, Sin marido y Sin maleta”.

The spanish Ministry of Education and Culture gives him the title of Professor in 2000 and in 2010 the title of Choreography and Interpreting Technique.
