Silvia Gribaudi

Choreographer and performer. Since 2004, her artistic research has focused on the social impact of the body, placing comedy and the audience–performer relationship at the center of her choreographic language.
Winner of the Premio Giovane Danza d’Autore with A corpo libero (2009); finalist for the Premio UBU for Best Dance Performance and for the Premio Rete Critica with R.OSA (2017); received the CollaborAction#4 Award (2018–2019); finalist for the Premio Rete Critica (2019); won the DANZA&DANZA Award for Best Italian Production with Graces (2019); and received the Hystrio Corpo a Corpo Award (2021).
She participated in many artistic research projects, including Choreoroam (2011), Triptych (2013), and Act Your Age (2014) – a European project on active aging through dance that led to the performance What Age Are You Acting? and the community project OVER 60 – as well as Performing Gender (2015) and Corpo Links Cluster (2019/2020), which led to the site-specific project Trekking Coreografico and the performance Monjour (2021).
In 2021, she was guest choreographer for Danser Encore, 30 solos pour 30 danseurs, a project for the Opéra de Lyon. In June 2023 she premiered Grand Jeté, co-produced by MM Contemporary Dance Company and several European organizations.
Silvia is associate artist at Le Gymnase CDCN Roubaix (2024–2026) and Teatro Stabile di Torino (2025–2027). Her works appear in national and international festivals and are created through artistic processes centered on dialogue and poetic encounters with other artists, companies, and communities.
